Project Description

The P-167 project at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, California, encompassed the design, engineering, and construction of a new Military Construction Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (MCON BEQ) and its ancillary facilities, including a Common Core Facility. In addition, the project involved the demolition of existing structures B186 and B187. The newly constructed BEQ provided 28 living/sleeping units along with additional spaces designated for the Common Core Facilities. The BEQ building, which could be one or two stories high, integrated the Community and Core Facilities, featuring high volume ceilings in the Community Core areas.
