Project Description

This Design-Build project included constructing a Fitness Center and a Multipurpose Religious Facility at Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake in Ridgecrest, California. These two new buildings were designed with specific purposes in mind: the Fitness Center to enhance physical fitness and readiness and to promote healthy lifestyles for the base community, and the Multipurpose Religious Facility to reestablish itself as the recognizable place-of-worship landmark, reminiscent of the previous 63-year-old All Faith Chapel that represented a significant symbol to the base community.
