Soltek Staff Show Up to Support Our Military at the Miramar Flight Line 5K

The weekend before last, Soltek proudly joined the Marines of MCAS Miramar and hundreds of participants for an unforgettable day at the Wings Over Miramar Flight Line 5K. This event, held on a hot Saturday, was a unique blend of fitness, military aviation, and community spirit.

As the sun rose over San Diego, our Soltek representatives laced up their running shoes and prepared to take on the challenge of running or walking on the actual flight line of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, an opportunity that only comes twice a year. The atmosphere was vibrant with the 3D MAW Band playing live, the Color Guard standing tall, and the Installation Sergeant Major leading the pre-race warm-up.

After the race, each participant was presented with a commemorative t-shirt and a Marine Corps Challenge Coin and got to enjoy local food and music, access to aircraft displays and Miramar squadron memorabilia.

This event was a perfect opportunity to support our military as our company has been engaged in many military ventures over the years. Participating in the Miramar Flight Line 5K aligns with our long-standing commitment to our armed forces, and we are honored to stand with those who serve. We are proud to have participated and look forward to many more events where we can show our support for our military and community!
