Roosevelt Middle School Modernization: Progress in Full Swing

Situated adjacent to the San Diego Zoo, Roosevelt Middle School, founded in 1922, is one of San Diego's first junior high schools. In April, the Soltek project team broke ground on this long-awaited modernization, marking the beginning of an exciting transformation.

Since then, the project has progressed smoothly, with significant advancements already made. Work has focused on upgrading key campus areas, including transforming the existing administration building into new classrooms and modernizing student restrooms.

This summer, the project team made great strides, completing important infrastructure work and advancing the development of the new administration building. A major milestone was celebrated with a topping-off ceremony, marking the completion of the building’s steel structure.
