Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening: Grossmont College Science Math Career Tech Complex

On Thursday, February 15th, representatives of Soltek's Business Development team attended the celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the new Grossmont College Science Math Career Tech Complex. Soltek completed the new 61,390-square-foot building, which will serve a dual purpose: housing the veteran services center, catering to over 500 active duty, reserve service members, veterans, and their families, while also providing essential resources for STEM students.

The new building includes modern and well-equipped classrooms for math, earth science, and anthropology, along with a STEM tutoring center and the Math, Engineering, and Science Achievement (MESA) program. These resources are designed to support students in their academic endeavors and create an optimal learning environment. This new addition is one of Soltek's many successfully completed projects for the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District. As we celebrate this milestone, and the project team for a job well done, we look forward to continued collaboration with Grossmont College and future projects that contribute to the advancement of education and the betterment of our community.
