June 02, 2008 Physical Fitness Center Commences

 

The Fitness Center is scheduled to be completed by June 2009 and consists of construction of a single story combination CMU and metal panel frame building with reinforced concrete footings and slab on grade, structural steel framing, and standing seam metal roof. Construction includes integral colored or glazed concrete block, or finished gypsum board over metal stud interior partitions, racquetball and basketball courts with wood floors, telescoping bleachers, aerobics, weight and cardiovascular training areas, restrooms, lockers, showers, saunas, equipment storage, laundry and administrative support areas, suspended acoustical ceiling system and suspended acoustical sound attenuation panels. The Soltek Team includes: Bob Thompson, Senior Project Manager; Joanie Taylor, Project Manager; and Jim Vieira, Superintendent.
